  • You are licensing the right to reproduce a specific Cam Villar artwork for a defined product, project, or commercial application.

    The license identifies where, how, and for how long the artwork may be used.

  • No. Copyright and ownership remain with Cam Villar and Modern Art Cam LLC.

    The license gives you defined usage rights but does not transfer the copyright or unrestricted ownership of the artwork file.

  • You will receive a high-resolution, production-ready file appropriate for the approved application.

    The final format may be TIFF, PSD, PSB, PDF, or another format requested by the approved manufacturer or production partner.

  • Licenses may be non-exclusive, limited-exclusive, category-exclusive, territory-exclusive, or fully exclusive.

    The greater the exclusivity, the higher the licensing fee and minimum financial commitment.

  • Normal production adjustments—including scaling, cropping, panel division, repeat development, and limited color correction—may be approved.

    Changes to the composition, colors, orientation, or essential visual character of the artwork require written approval.

  • The production file may be provided to an approved printer, manufacturer, fabricator, or installer solely for completing the licensed application.

    That company receives no independent right to retain, reuse, sell, or redistribute the artwork.

  • A license may include permission to show the finished licensed product in catalogs, websites, samples, trade presentations, social media, and project photography.

    Marketing rights apply only to promoting the licensed product or installation and do not permit the artwork to be sold separately.

  • Artist credit is required whenever practical and appropriate.

  • For Strata and other architectural applications, the artwork will be prepared according to the scale, resolution, substrate, repeat, and output requirements of the project.

    The finished file may be scaled, cropped, extended, or formatted in coordination with the manufacturer. The artwork will not be altered in a way that compromises its essential character without prior approval.

  • Only when the agreement specifically permits multiple projects.

    A single-project license normally covers one identified location or installation. Additional locations or applications require an expanded license or an additional project fee.

  • Yes. A manufacturer or distributor may license selected artwork for inclusion in a defined product collection.

    These agreements normally include a licensing term, territory, product category, royalty rate, minimum guarantee, reporting requirements, and renewal provisions.

  • Project licenses may be permanent for the completed installation but limited to that particular location.

    Product and manufacturing licenses are normally issued for a defined period, commonly one to three years, with renewal options.

  • Yes. A license may be renewed, expanded to additional territories, extended to new products, or converted to a broader level of exclusivity.

    Any expansion must be approved in writing before the additional use begins.

  • Manufacturing and new commercial use must stop when the license expires unless the agreement is renewed.

    Existing permanent installations may generally remain in place. Any remaining product inventory is handled according to the sell-off provisions in the agreement.

  • Full exclusivity may be available for selected artwork, but it requires a substantial licensing commitment.

    Modern Art Cam may also create or reserve artwork specifically for an exclusive client, manufacturer, hospitality group, or product program.
